Climate action often slows down because too many actors are involved.

That is exactly what Quintana Roo, Mexico, did through the @peoplepowered.org Climate Democracy Accelerator.

Cities often struggle to understand climate impacts at the neighborhood level. Localized data, community insights, and institutional mechanisms are often missing.

Our 2025 Impact Report is out! Since 2020, we've trained or supported 1,523 people, helped launch or improve 178 participatory democracy programs, and reached over 70,000 practitioners through our resources.
