Had a weird AuDHD brain experience at this event. During the laser music show, part of my brain cleaved off and decided it wanted organize and categorize all of my work and commitments. Thankfully it didn’t distract me too much to enjoy the event with wife.

When we’re in survival mode and under oppressive conditions, we do the very best we can. Anyone who expects more is part of the problem.

Data equity is racial justice. It is disability justice. It is Indigenous sovereignty. It is queer and trans liberation. It is our responsibility to students, families, and communities who have been erased by data systems for too long.

Modern social justice movements are defined by cross-movement solidarity, acknowledging that no one is free until everyone is free.

Ableism undergirds all other systems of oppression because it decides whose bodies are considered valuable, desirable and disposable.

They’re always trying to defend and promote it like… a cult.

Neurotypical cognition evolved to facilitate group cohesion and social functioning. Autistic cognition evolved as a complementary adaptation that helps ensure social systems maintain integrity and don't drift toward harmful practices through unchecked conformity. We create balance.

You belong. You matter. You touch the lives of people you’ll never know.

The Autistic Integrity Function theory proposes that autistic cognition represents a valuable evolutionary adaptation that helps maintain ethical coherence and health within human societies. Our specific autistic cognitive traits serve essential corrective functions within social systems.

We’re not just “justice sensitive”. Autistic cognition serves as society's truth-teller, whistleblower, and early warning system.

Our vibrant community celebrates neurodivergent perspectives and fosters belonging in a world that often misunderstands and devalues our experiences.

Autistic culture has shared language, traditions, values, and social practices created by autistic people that reflect unique ways of experiencing and interpreting the world.

Autistic culture is just as varied and valid as any other culture worldwide.

Empathy is subjective and not the same across neurotypes or cultures.

“High functioning” is a label based on neurotypical standards.

My personal opinion is that the importance of things can be summed up with LGFWB: Love, Gratitude, Food, Water, Breath. In that specific order of importance.
