earlier today me and roommate figured out where the dog lives and talked to its owner - the owner really, really obviously doesn't like this dog (might be abusive?), so uh, maybe they'll be reasonable if my roommate asks if we can take it off of their hands next time it escapes...?
this time it's a person who lives in a complex behind my building, so their backyard fence separates their space from the useless rock yard around my bedroom window... and their fence has a gap they aren't patching very carefully. this tiny dog has gotten out so many times in the past few weeks.
aaagh okay just for the sake of communicating this ahead of time... remember how almost exactly 13 months ago, i ended up taking a puppy from some people that lived next to me who didn't seem to want the dog?
