Our friends tought their cats to swim and climb the dinghy. On passage she's usually sleeping but you could tie her down or get a life jacket if she want to venture out on deck 😅

Same here, we found this little kitten and didn't have the heart to leave her, she is just a kitten and has fallen overboard twice while at anchor though.
