I was going more by pattern. If the watch recognizes I’m working out, and I have an appointment in my calendar that’s called “horse riding” and I am currently in the location of a horse riding center, how likely is it then that I am jogging?

Same with badminton on Sundays. Yes I could remember to start it, but usually I forget. Last Friday I remembered but apparently did not hit start correctly so my watch did not record and thought I was running indoors after 30 minutes.

Something I would really like is if my watch got what kind of sports I’m doing more accurately.

I go horse riding every Friday, I have a calendar event called horse riding and the location has a horse riding center on maps. Still, after 30 minutes my watch goes “are you running outdoors?”

It’s snowing in Billund! We also had a snowball fight, and I think I lost by not participating. 😭😂❄️☃️🌨️

Just a quick word of warning if you’re developing something for this year’s #SwiftStudentChallenge: don’t import assets via Xcode if you expect your app to run in the Playground/on a real iPad. They use different asset formats. I learned this the hard way last year!

Also when exporting to PDF, the document is 4 pages shorter because the font gets smaller and more compressed. Furious that I didn’t just go with LaTeX from the start.

Basically it tuned a formated word document into plain text when exporting. I nearly wanted to throw my laptop out of the window. I wasn’t able to delete or rename font styles. In the end, I created a whole new document and re did all formatting.

I have recently been fighting with Word. I only have access to the web version, and that does funny things to documents when exporting. I duplicated a document, and It duplicated all font styles, so that the font styles would create naming conflicts when exporting to PDF.

My friend once argued that you can always add another layer of clothes if it’s cold, but not remove them when it’s warm. I am not convinced. I still prefer the summer.

My watch dies after like half a round of golf so i need a battery extension! Because if my watch doesn’t measure the sport i do, did I then even do the sport???? Will my body know???

Also the dictation never works for me bc I type in two languages with one keyboard, and when activating dictation it chooses the wrong language in 100% of the cases 😂 I am being difficult, I know.

In German my autocorrect for the keyboard refuses to change “farben” (color, wrong spelling) into “Farben” (color) instead going with “färben” (coloring) all the time! It does it with some other words as well, favoring Umlaute over capitalization, it’s one of my big keyboard pain points.

I went to a new years concert yesterday and it was truly amazing! 🤩 something I’ve been feeling positive about is my internship. It’s a super nice group of people and a great place to work. 🥳🤩 I’m happy to go back next week (Currently I’m looking forward to a small vacation with my best friend.🏔️)
