Just tested it on a #Synology box via Container Manager, as a project. First run, zero issues. using the xlil/mantisbt:latest image
That’s a Docker issue I would say not a vendor but I hear you.
What exact image are you using? Most are identical and use the same web+database setup. Personally, I would recommend to use the Project option in the Container Manager and with it use any suggested docker compose (yaml file) to get both Mantis and its DB up and running.

My suggestion would be #Synology. The answer is long, but if you are looking a DAS solution, they only offer the #BeeDrive. That would be a hybrid DAS/NAS option considering its features. Still, while being a 10G device, capacity is only up to 4TB so that might be an issue.

Odd. I have used Plex with Synology since 2008, and have had zero issues, ever. Currently running 5 NAS units, 3 of which are Plex servers.
#Synology would be my choice but if transcoding is needed then it won’t be the best option out there due to AMD models being in the most of their lineup
