A 3x2 grid of images of visitors to the feeder - a pigeon, two robins, a dunnock, a magpie and a squirrel.
The bird feeder camera we have in the garden is an absolute joy. On a typical day we get dozens of visitors, here are a few from this morning.

Yeah, that would be insane. I’ve no idea if this will actually work and am on my phone but Claudinho reckons you can drop this into your code to test out my model, though I’ve no idea if it’s more or less accurate than yours.

Ah, gotcha. I thought you’d used the same model! I prefer the outcome of yours.
I just had a look - 102 points occurs ~once in every 1000 runs of the sim, so definitely an outlier, though theoretically still possible if you’re only running it once. If you run enough cycles (100,000 works) you should get closer to a sensible points tally close to the median.
That’s very cool though!
Ha! The last time I ran it it had us finishing on 88, so you must be our good luck charm.
Ain’t nobody got time for that. But if you want to add an autopilot mode to your app, the simulation model is here: gist.github.com/scfrisby/61e...
Of course you did. 😂
I made a model which simulates each result 100k times to create a probabilistic league table every gameweek.
The only things that really matter:
It currently gives us a 75% chance of the title, an 18% chance of finishing 2nd, and gives Leicester a 60% chance of going down. 🤞🏻
Morning #devon
I remember spending so much time in my formative years looking at this version and many other versions of @simplebits.com and learning how to write CSS and make good internet.
I think 86 will be enough. We’re very nearly there.
February in Barcelona.
And where is he? In Nice, with his trotters up? He should be held to account.
This ref seems determined to give everything he can against Tatsu. I’d take him off just to prevent an inevitable unjustified red card. #PUSB
Sure, let’s pretend a family of nazis and nonces have some divine right to “lead” (but only in a purely ceremonial sense), and lets stuff the legislature full of barons and plantation owners and let’s not bother building any new infrastructure for 150 years. What a stupid place to live.
I hate how we’ve just decided some objectively pathetic things about this country are immutable for vague reasons of retaining obviously crappy aspects of ARR CULCHA.
Instead of worrying about remove people from the line of succession, how about we just remove the whole dumb idea of one family living on lavish handouts from the working population in return for being treated like idiots. Turn the palaces into Starbucks and have done with the lot of the fuckers.
Cream Collon Strawberry flavour - a Japanese snack in six handy individual wrapped packets.
What’s wrong babe, you’re barely touched your Cream Col(l)on?
Did you know the word serendipity was invented by a chap called Horace in in a letter to another chap called Horace published in 1833 and it didn’t make it into a dictionary until 1902 and that it comes from ‘Serendip’, an old English word for Sri Lanka and a story about three inquisitive princes?
Really?? That’s a great fact. Can I assume then that Mussolini invented San Pellegrino?
Week 1 of new job done. My new colleagues seem really nice. What a relief that is after my previous gig.
Next week I’m working from Barcelona.
There needs to be enough sun for me to thaw but not so much that I am forced to claim asylum from the repressive weather regime of England.
OMG same. Also having a Tory Fanta to go with it. Living it up.
I started my new job *3 days ago* and it’s still *two entire work days* until the weekend. Something is wrong.
A tall warehouse building in Shoreditch with indigo-blue wooden doors across three floors and an old sign which reads “W. A. HUDSON Ltd. - FURNISHING BRASSFOUNDERS.”
Nice type
Something is wrong with Luke Ayling. Yaya Toure vibes. Concerning. #PUSB
Almost. That’ll do, won’t it? #PUSB
Evening #london
3-0, re-establish ourselves as the best team in the league and go on a run which solidifies our position in the top two.
“I saw a person lying on the pavement and instead of offering to help I stopped briefly to take a photograph, walked past, and then composed a tweet about it to post to the CSAM fascist website” is real big brain political comms.
I wonder how many homeless people could be helped with his unpaid tax
Also annoying is that I went through this same process in 2024 and asked these dicks to put my house on a meter so I could pay for what I use and they just never bothered to reply which meant I spent another two years just giving them money for no reason at all.
