Dang it. GitHub Copilot appears to be down again. That's my cue to go to bed!

Well, this is timely. I had built a complicated workaround for the fact that GH Copilot coding agent had no CLI/API way to initiate it. But, this should make it was easier to automate at scale.

Next up, I installed Claude Code for VS Code (the VS Code extension) version 2.1.53. Clicking the "Claude Code: Open" button results in an error:

command 'claude-vscode.editor.openLast' not found

What is going on here? Is this a real product?? Did anyone at Anthropic test it?

Claude Desktop 1.1.4173 just... doesn't open on my Windows 11 system. 🤔 I launch it from the Start menu and I see it in Task Manager, but it does nothing. Cool.

Am I missing something?
