That Prince song is one of my personal favourites.π
I inherited a bunch of Steely Dan albums from my uncle. Can't Buy A Thrill is my favourite I think.
I might just run Erik The Viking. π
I honestly don't understand how this got released without someone thinking that maybe they should do due diligence and check with the writers in question. Probably because they'd have said NOPE. The mind boggles. π΅βπ«https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx28v08jpe7o
I've been like that with beautiful settings/systems myself, found myself loving it but unsure how to get it to the table. I'll let you know what I think after reading this too.
Looking forward to reading this. Might be time to rewatch Erik The Viking.

I'm with you. Chupacabra on the fiver.
Wildlife on future banknotes sounds ace. They've had wildlife on Scottish banknotes for quite a few years now and the artwork is beautiful. The red squirrels on the Β£20 note is my favourite. www.natwestgroup.com/heritage/sub...

It's a shame they flattened a lot of it during the industrial revolution. The reconstructed gateway and wall section in Castlefield is really great though, and well worth a visit. I remember going on a school visit in the 80s when it opened. π www.historyhit.com/locations/ca...
Now hoping for a fortlet being discovered near the pond in our back garden @fenrisgames.com @clownf1st.bsky.social @dozy139.bsky.social @andyhemming.bsky.social @huwbowen.bsky.social
*Alien. π
Love the prints I bought from @tokyosexwhale.bsky.social - and before you ask - no, those pins are not through the print they are just supporting it. Putting a pin through this would be heresy! Going to buy frames while out in town today. Look at the Allen one! π
βBut, as you see, it's a beautiful day, the Strait of Hormuz is open and people are having a wonderful time!β
Those car mods won't pay for themselves.
Thanks. It was my mother in law's and my wife has given it to me as I do a lot of writing and prefer ink pens. Sac seems in good condition I'll give it a clean as you suggest. π
Aerometric.
A Parker P51 fountain pen in original case.
Fountain pen aficionados, I appear to have inherited a 1956 Parker P51 fountain pen. Is this a good pen? It looks nice in the original case.
100% what you just wrote.
Might have to retcon my maps. π€£
βAI can never be AI without humans. It is not artificial intelligence. Itβs African intelligence...We are training our own death. We train ChatGPT and itβs killing us slowly.β
Kenyan workers are still the underpaid labor behind AI training, moderation, and sex chatbots. Now, they're fighting back.
Yes, a lot of the artwork my partner produces has some sort of moss involved. www.ncargillthompson.co.uk/projects/
I didn't know that it being confirmed as Hadrian's Wall was so recent.
Superb. A footnote taking up half the book. π€£
When I think about playing the Twilight Imperium boardgame (it is a great game but, yes, that playtime!) it reminds me of trying to play The Succession Wars boardgame. We'd set it up and it'd be time to go home. π
Rereading the first two books in the Jackpot trilogy - The Peripheral and Agency - by @greatdismal.bsky.social and when I look around, I can easily imagine this timeline is being messed with by bored rich people in an alternate future. We were robbed not getting a S2 of the The Peripheral TV show.
One of my favourite venues too, welcome to my neck of the woods. π
Now thinking of a scenario I can write called "A Garden Full Of Black Flowers" because it sounds ace. π
