It's not often that you can call one of your favorite classic video game composers a friend, but Masashi Kageyama was a special case.
Rest in Peace, Masashi Kageyama. I was touched by the Diggin' in the Carts doc featuring him & his work on the Gimmick! OST. Meeting him on my 1st trip to Japan in 2018 was special; he welcomed me with his kindness & saxophone skills. ๐ท Glad he met with fans at MAGFest this year. He will be missed.
