Yeah similar, was brought up going to mass in a relatively religious country but from the beginning it was always boring at best.

The best thing about Bluesky is people like the journalist that wrote that not being here, tbh. The worst thing may be the sort of thing described in that excerpt.

Never actually flown Jet2 but it has an option for a flight I need to take. Is it any better/worse than the others?

One Manโ€™s Quest for the End of the World Started on a Ranch in Texas A Texas businessman believes he was divinely chosen to help usher in the Second Coming of Christโ€”by finding unblemished red heifers and getting them to Israel.

Well, this story is completely mad.

That's definitely the feeling I have. Halfway through, the word dream is peppered into every second sentence ๐Ÿ˜€

Some good moments but a bit of a slog at times.

Might start wearing the costumes. Bit by bit at first, then when anyone comments angrily insisting I've always dressed this way.

Getting into period dramas lately, lol. Last week watched The House Of Mirth, tonight I'm thinking A Lion In Winter.

Victoria Park Market is the greatest overheard conversation spot in London. Today a posh voice in the crowd is heard saying "society today, it's... as if we are living on a volcano... and it could explode"

They very seldom bother here either. I would also like to do that except wasn't even really dressed but I'm up and showered now, Labour has got Britain working again!

Assuming I'm not the only one who never answers the door unless I'm expecting a visitor or delivery, lol.

Was wondering who has the gumption to knock loudly on my door twice even after I ignored it the first time. It's... The Labour Party!

You see skin and like anyone else simply think of the words "worthless meat sack", but at La Roche Posay we see hopes and dreams!

Such a mad tournament. There's probably something in the fact that if they sat down and organised it it wouldn't have its current structure.

Mark Pougatch, what is your life like when you're not hosting two minutes of sport between ads on ITV? Mark Pougatch, what are your hopes and dreams?

I wonder would it have gone differently for us if we kept the ball more, but it's sort of hard to compare France that night to the France of today.

Maybe France should play a lock at lock, just a thought.

Listening to a podcast and the presenter read the scripted line "tourists come to drink in the incredible views" without emphasising the in. Prob a more honest statement.

People might get mad here but I absolutely can't stand Stevie Wonder's Superstition, despite liking a lot of similar music and accepting it is a classic piece of music. Just the annoying cheekiness of the melody, the sense that someone is slyly wagging their finger at you with every line.
