San Diego FC coach Mikey Varas regarding the discriminatory GK chant heard tonight.
He also later went on to say that it didn’t emerge from the supporters group section. I can also confirm that it didn’t seem to emerge from that area of the stadium and more so from general seating.

Said it did not come from their supporters group, Fronteras SD.

While the game was incredible there was a slight stain on the evening.
The discriminatory chants that were yelled are unacceptable. We pride ourselves on being welcoming, and representative of our community. We have worked too hard for people to attempt to ruin that. We will not tolerate this.
Not acceptable. Personally apologizing on behalf of the supporters. It didn’t come from us, but there is no excuse.
