Trump's EPA revokes scientific finding that underpinned US fight against climate change
The Trump administration has revoked a key EPA finding that allowed the U.S. to regulate greenhouse gases. The move could undo emissions limits on cars, power plants and other major polluters.
Yesterday, the Trump administration repealed the Endangerment Finding. This bedrock finding is what allowed the U.S. to regulate the pollution that's harming communities and accelerating climate change.
Our responsibility to take action has never been greater. Read more: https://bit.ly/46GOTUP

Critics say Eastern Oregon nitrates report shows more progress on policies than pollution
More than a year ago, state agencies released a plan that mapped out how they would clean up a decades-long nitrates pollution problem in Eastern Oregon. The first progress report is now out.
A year into addressing Eastern Oregon's nitrate crisis, state agencies report progress. The challenge? "You can have all the plans in the world, but if you aren't funding implementation, you have a challenge," says OEC's Karen Lewotsky. https://bit.ly/45KBD1a

Will electric tractors gain traction? At a pilot event for farmers, researchers see possibilities
At an August event, researchers at Michigan State University asked farmers what they think of a new electric tractor.
Last year, OEC worked with OSU to bring four all-electric UTVs to research station farms across the state. Folks we talked to throughout the project expressed a keen interest in electric tractors. It’s exciting to see the possibility and promise of this growing industry! 🚜
