This includes spelling variations, reordering, changing any part of your name, for any reason: gender transition, marriage, divorce, immigration, cultural reasons, or recognition. Researchers who have changed their name for any reason, such as gender transition, marriage, divorce, immigration, cultural reasons, or citation formatting issues. Whether you've successfully updated your work, are currently trying, or decided not to because of barriers, your opinion matters. Your input will help us advocate for better, more inclusive policies in academic publishing. It takes around 5-10 minutes to complete. Graduate school applications often require specific knowledge and networks, which LGBTQIA+ people are often excluded from. In addition, LGBTQIA+ people often have questions around how to discuss their identities in applications and how to find welcoming institutions and groups. 2/3

Our Application Financial Aid Program provided over $250,000 to more than 250 LGBTQIA+ scholars from over 30 countries, allowing them to apply to grad and medical schools in the first place, apply to more schools, and help them keep paying for rent, groceries, and other essentials. 4/5

Applying to graduate schools is expensive. Queer in AI and oSTEM have been running the Financial Aid Program since 2020, aiming to alleviate the burden of application and test fees for queer STEM scholars applying to graduate programs. Applicants from all countries are welcomed. 3/5
