With you on this one. $fillable + Model::unguarded as needed.

Spot on!

As a Dutchman I can confirm that Dutch is indeed just Drunk German 😁

If you see this, post a character that starts with a "G".

If the attacker assumed those addresses may have been larger companies and banking on the admin staff not being trained in recognising scams it would make some sense. But yeah, that’s so weird.

Ooooh love to see it.

Since it’s Statamic related maybe you could put up a banner on the site and/or send out a newsletter if you guys do that.

I don’t think there’s much else you can do than raise awareness and wait for it to blow over πŸ˜•

Turns out someone is using my photo and name in a scam email about Statamic.

The email address listed is some dodgy gmail email.

This is not me... so please don't engage with them.

No idea what I can do about it though.

Then after the TTL runs out you’ll be done.

Downtime should be a few minutes, but that’ll depend on your database size.

What I’d do here is have 2 servers running side by side, set up the site on the Hetzner side and get everything ready there. Then put your DNS on the lowest TTL you can and wait it out, then go maintenance mode, migrate the database and move over your DNS records.

❌ No

Because it won’t pass code review πŸ˜‰

Nah. Only if the factory FQN differs from the default.

Not all heroes wear capes.

Easily

Now do it some 15 times, released on several platforms, with a bajillion remasters. Todd would be proud

Give it a clean, slap a lightweight Linux distro on it, you’re laughing!

16.02.2026 21:49 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Ah! I mean it works either way 😁

Relatively. On a larger project it took 2 days to upgrade due to Carbon 2 -> 3 and PHPUnit deprecations. But was otherwise very easy.

On a smaller project on mine it took 10 minutes.

I feel you, I updated a huge project to Laravel 12 about 6 weeks ago. Did you use Shift for your upgrade?

Though reading some posts around, it looks like the Laravel 13 upgrade will be super painless. 🀞🏻

Definitely A

Haha fair!

Queues are always a pleasure to debug. Best of luck and if you need someone to test some things just hmu!

And thank you for making a great tool! If there comes a point where it costs you a bunch, please do let me know as I’d gladly pay for something like this πŸ˜„

And let me know if anything is up with the package

If I were to restart today, I would want to go the systems programming route learning Zig, Rust and/or C, or go DevOps.

Realistically I’d go full backend and learn C#, Python and Go due to market demand.

This looks is really cool, I’ll give a go tonight!

The potential performance gains of PHP 8.3. From everything I read so far, Laravel 13 is going to be a boring release and that’s a very good thing πŸ‘πŸ»

Introducing Anti Slop 🚫

A GitHub action that detects and automatically closes low-quality and AI slop PRs.

As one of the maintainers of Coolify (50K+ stars) we deal with slop PRs daily so I decided to fix it.

Early testing showed this action could have closed 98% of slop PRs.
