The word 'anathema' caught my attention; from the Greek, as are so many of our choice words. But, if my Google search is correct, it now means the opposite of what it did for the Greeks.
I live in a condo (not complaining about that), but now we have to use an app to do our laundry. Oh for the olden times when it was just quarters.

A growing group of Aloe nobilis rosettes. The leaves are short and thick with tiny white thorns on the margins.
After nearly three years, the small Aloe nobilis I planted has successfully taken over the small mound I created for it. Love the dark green color and dense group of rosettes. 🌱
