What really upsets me is when people use times like "12pm" / "12am". Do they mean noon or midnight? I've also seen things like 1st January 2026 00:00 where people mean 1 minute past 23:59 on 1st January 2026 instead of the same time on 31st December 2025. Aargh!
Reform could gain another MP this Thursday. That's why we're urging Labour, Lib Dem, & other party supporters to lend their vote to the Greens this time in Gorton & Denton. We've carried out extensive research and it points to this being our best chance of stopping a very real threat from Reform.

Agree it's (mostly) easy to see there is no footnote*. However the point is that it is excruciatingly frustrating that there is information that is being withheld from the reader.
*Though sometimes (e.g. in large texts or on food packaging) you have to hunt far and wide to confirm that it's missing
