Not at all, you just have to enable testing versions in Dalamud's settings, and then right click ktisis -> receive testing versions.
Ignore the disabled there, I was doing some dev work when I took the screenshot!
Just as a FYI - the testing version is the actively worked on next major version, it's just not the mainline until we finish up a few things.
