We found some deeper snow totals this morning in Roxborough State Park.
This damage and distressing report is from the Union City, MI tornado.
😥
You can see the remnants of trees on the left, consistent with violent tornadoes.

Soon we'll have to get all our storm chasing in by late February or early March before the death grip of eternal heat dome sets in for the 8-month US summer season.
My complaints to the atmosphere were heard, and the atmosphere has remedied the situation with at least an inch of snow so far and continued decent snow rates.
I’m glad the powerful elements of society decided this is a woke liberal hoax to be ignored and will purposely offset with renewed efforts to ramp up CO2 at this critical moment. :-/
Getting a little better. At least I can visually discern flurries falling outside now.
If you replace ‘Iran’ with ‘the American people’, this statement still checks out.
As it has been foreseen, the Great Snow Hole of Erie is taking shape.
Just like that...I've become a middle aged bird watcher...
I think today was the perfect example of the value added with conditional intensity outlooks. First potential significant tornado in a 5% CIG 1.
A screen capture of the Fairview ‘, OK tornado from Jeromy Carter.
More capped than the models anticipated (for daytime fun, at least).
Sorry, my friend :-(
I’m often asked “did you see the storm over X - what’s going on?” I would then scramble to one of the many wx sites to make a sounding. What if there was a site that specialized in soundings?

Towards the top of Green Mountain I’m finally reaching the snowpack.
Soon our plants are going to start their own fires so helicopters will do water drops on them.
After our drought busting sprinkles yesterday, the trails in Boulder are still tinder dry.
I concluded at the time that I'm not sure if he likes rock n' roll culture.
My only personal experience with Smashing Pumpkins was when I saw them at Horde Fest in 1998, OKC. Not by choice but since I was already there. After a couple or so songs, Corgan (and therefore the band) stormed off the set because he was angry the crowd was sending paper airplanes up on stage.

Yes, for sure. I didn't have my best years of storm chasing when I lived in Madison; it's definitely easier out this way. I still miss all the beautiful shelf clouds that were relatively common in summer, though.
A random memory of Carpenter, WY, June 12, 2017 just distracted me, as tornado memories are wont to do in my daily life. While I didn't have the greatest vantage point in terms of contrast, it was the first and only time I got my late weather-nerd dad on some tornadoes.
Keota is one I will always regret not chasing. The eastern IA from Colorado drive kept me home; but obviously it would have been worth the effort. Great shot!
I had been wondering the same about the 3 minutes of polite sprinkles we got this morning.
Notwithstanding the song’s connection to a news conference today, Bruce is such a great musician that I came to appreciate years after this particular popular song. Great to see live too.
