In what universe is sitting on a guy that beaten you’s foot a “soft penalty”?

Yellow for Havertz
Zubimendi and Havertz received two of the most absurd yellow cards in that match I’ve ever seen.

Knew as soon as the ref ignored the late challenge on Aaronson by O’Reilly that City would score.
I am so tired of this weak bullshit. Arsenal cannot handle scoring. Turns our brains off.
Wes Rucker ER selfie when he had a stroke, go Vols
So Tennessee he had a stroke and was taking selfies for the lulz in the ER, go Vols
I can’t do much with the unfairness of someone not getting enough time to live the life they deserved, but I can appreciate how much he only built his life around the things he loved while he was here
Wes Rucker was just a great, great dude.
Awful to hear about Wes Rucker. Though we weren’t close, we were high school baseball opponents turned into internet acquaintances. I enjoyed his coverage and chatting Arsenal with him from time to time. Our community is less today than it was yesterday. My thoughts are with his friends and family.
…but if that CF is Havertz? Good luck tracking runners, defense.
Yep. I love this. I realized my original idea was less about getting the ball to Gyökeres and more about creating cutbacks to inside channels for the dual 8s, whomever that might be (Eze and Saka in the dream version of this set up I think). Issue may be that it makes Vik a decoy
Fair. Appreciate the insight.
But the game where late on Martinelli was on the right and Gyökeres came on they looked like a more natural fit, right?
I’ve been begging to flip the wings with Vik up front - un-invert Noni and Martinelli so they’re crossing and cutting back from their strong feet
The take hill I’m choosing to die on is that we are suffering in midfield due to the minutes Rice and Zubi have played, and part of that is because Arteta didn’t see the down the road value of playing Norgaard 15-20 min at a time earlier in the season
Thank you!
7 of our 10 shots were in the first 34 minutes. 3 shots over the final 56+12 minutes is just not good enough.
I don’t think they are being coached to do it given the way Arteta exhorts them while it is happening.
Billy, what is your best theory on why we seem incapable of avoiding giving the other team the ball for long stretches of matches, letting teams on roller skates build confidence and find their footing? It has been a consistent disaster for months now.
Mosquera shoved his fingers up Jesus’ bum a couple seasons ago. VAR didn’t look at it.
Giving the other team the ball gives them hope. It gives them a foothold. It keeps them in the game.
It is fucking stupid.
Whatever it is - coaching, mentality, whatever - that has led Arsenal to decide giving the other team the ball for large stretches of matches they should be choking out through controlled possession, it has cost them the league.
I mean that’s a penalty and he’s never getting it. Sloppy defending unpunished.
If you are mad about that halftime show, you’re just telling on yourself.
I know Bad Bunny didn’t explicitly say this is for concacafmebol but baby he said this is for concacafmebol
On the belly celly ferda
*than Martinelli on the left I mean
Martinelli on the right a much better pairing for Gyökeres as well, yes?
Now do net spend including wages.
Hoping Timber, Zubimendi and Saka are planned subs at 60’ or sooner.
