There is no way anyone who was deep into the life, who actually lived what I only played at, could crack those circles.

There are a lot of trans women on here that creeps will block and tuck their tail between their legs rather than get into it with but I've noticed they feel perfectly fine picking on girls who are worried about medicine or homelessness or whatever.

Those poors, especially poor trans women, do all sorts of things that McBride (and gentry like her) have intense revulsion for.

They've had to be angry (even physically fight) to survive. They have to rely more on community rather than moving blithely up the hierarchies by passive compliance...

Because the american status quo, especially its liberal wing, *hates* talking about class, the intersections between queerness/transness and class status get way less attention than they should.

But, propaganda to the contrary, queer and trans people are overwhelmingly working class populations...

Among its many problems for her, being trans means that McBride's path into the elite, especially its upper ranks, isn't as cushy as it would otherwise be.

It also (and trans gentry, ime, *really* hate this fact) connects her to larger demographics that are mostly working class and poor.

Re-upping this older thread on trans gentry's reflexive disdain for the rest of us, particularly the rush to condemn trans communities for "going too far."
