Exactly this. AI (and more specifically LLMs) can certainly be extremely useful in coding, but they are absolutely nowhere near the capability all this hype makes out. I say that as a retired software engineer happily using this for pet projects.
Spain allows dual nationality for those “Spanish by Origin”. But not for those naturalised Spanish. The issue was, until 1981 only a father could confer British nationality abroad. A mother could not. That was only changed in the British Nationality Act 1981.
I had a British parent born in Britain. Her parents were British. Because she gave birth to me in Spain, she was not able to pass on her British citizenship to me. Such is the nature of citizenship rights, and being careful about what you assume.
Parentage doesn’t prove citizenship. Ask me how I know. 😃
