Exactly this. AI (and more specifically LLMs) can certainly be extremely useful in coding, but they are absolutely nowhere near the capability all this hype makes out. I say that as a retired software engineer happily using this for pet projects.

Spain allows dual nationality for those βSpanish by Originβ. But not for those naturalised Spanish. The issue was, until 1981 only a father could confer British nationality abroad. A mother could not. That was only changed in the British Nationality Act 1981.
I had a British parent born in Britain. Her parents were British. Because she gave birth to me in Spain, she was not able to pass on her British citizenship to me. Such is the nature of citizenship rights, and being careful about what you assume.
Parentage doesnβt prove citizenship. Ask me how I know. π
Birth records donβt necessarily confirm nationality.
I wonder what βuntil their British nationality is verifiedβ entails? A 30 second lookup by passport control, or something more onerous.
Yet another benefit of green energy. Maxim Timchenko says it takes one Iskander missile to destroy a coal powered station that supplies 250k ppl. It would take 50 to destroy a wind farm with same capacity. #energysummitlondon
So it begins... @bambulabglobal.bsky.social's latest X1C firmware no longer works with OrcaSlicer. See: github.com/bambulab/Bam...
Best solution for current X1C owners: don't upgrade your firmware.
Yep, I think Iβve got one of those.
Love the two-tone inset design.
Time to boycott all products and services from the USA.
If ever there were a perfect argument for atheism, heβs exactly it. How can anyone claim to be a βvessel of Jesusβ, without making it completely clear thatβs utterly delusional, I donβt know.
I think itβs time to eject Hungary from the EU. If only the UK hadnβt done so itself.
Here is a recap of the Ukraine situation, for those choosing to reject propaganda and continue seeking truth:
December 1994, Ukraine agrees to give up its nuclear arsenal in return for security guarantees from the US, UK, France, China and Russia.
Curious if you got any further with this?
Thatβs a very clean cooking A500. Brings back memories.
So far as I can tell, currently the only way to avoid that weird tech billionaire entering my life is to sit alone in a darkened room, inside a Faraday cage. Even then I wouldnβt put it past someone to stand outside with a megaphone live transcribing his bullshit.
The Raspberry Pi's *greatest* feature is having significant mainline Linux kernel support + high quality patches.
Most other vendors generate the most garbage quality kernel patches you could possibly imagine. These are the SBCs running your car's infotainment system, which should explain a lot.
Whose idea was it that taking a screenshot on iPhone, by default, emits a loud skeumorphic camera shutter sound?
I assume some kind of CAN bus adapter? Curious about the M.2 form factor - to go in a mini PC inside a vehicle of some sort?
Did you use paste or solder? It can be shockingly easy with paste and a small hot plate: look how slapdash this guy is, and the job comes out great! youtu.be/8J0pez9aE7g (about 11mins in)
Ooof. Your hands must be steadier than mine. Please post the results!
What are you using? Hot air or hot plate? Or both?
Iβve never used Proteus. What donβt you like about KiCad?
