Volker also discussed individual-based ecology as a concept and presented our journal at the GfÖ meeting - he delivered an insightful presentation on our goals and mission and why ecology on the individual level matters!

Last week, IBE was represented at GfÖ's annual meeting in Würzburg, Germany by our Editor-in-Chief Volker Grimm! Ecology is at the centre of what we do and we are excited we got this opportunity to share what IBE is all about and talk to like-minded people.
