You're right. I apologize. The current socioeconomic/geopolitical issues plus my legitimate issues with the idea of the Index 01 just have a very sour taste in my mouth when it comes to thecompany to consumer relationship.
Please let Highguard forever be known as "Geoff Keighley's Highguard"
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - SNES 1992
Yeah I'm 35 years late on this one. It's among the GOATs for a reason. Brilliant world, varied locales and enemies. It's a game that holds up today. My issues are minor and really are a skill issue more than a game issue.
10/10
"We built this shit, motherfucker..."
So will Highguard be forever known as "Geoff Keighley's Highgaurd"?
Because I feel like his name should be attached to that failure forever.
"Its morphin' time!"
My unscientific test. 1.75 mhz seems to look best to my eye.
Another day. Another round of war crimes by my government.
Anyway...
Tbf I varied it between like 2 and 6 mhz. I really didn't notice much above 3 so I dialed it back. I'll need to pixel peep more with some different games and the 240p suite.
Another day, another stupid cartoon dog breaking the Internet...
๐
(sighs heavily)...
*Fuck...*
I can corroborate that my GPM-02 board SNES gets similar results with 2.5 Mhz on the filter. It seems too good to be true or my eyes are lying to me. But every damn day the RT4K impresses me more and more.
Ok grandpa, it's time for bed.
There are a thousand other things you could be posting about right now. This... What the fuck man.
What board revision is your SNES, btw?
(You do need to crack it open to check. So if you haven't then no worries)
$750, but consider the alternatives to get a comparable retro setup that looks as good. Might save a little, but the RTink is so versatile. Its literally black magic in a box.
I would love to try this, but both my SNES's are broken right now :(
That shouldn't be the case. I still had everything from when I played 10 years ago.
Yeah. Remedy exists.
Service Now is evil and must be destroyed.

Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask.
In no particular order.
The fact they tried to pull this in the first place is reason enough to exodus from the platform. There are no second chances for shitty corporations. Fuck em.
It would be cool if subs to this channel were also donated to a charity. That's what GDQ is all about after all.
Post Reagan, the United States became a legitimized Oligarchy. We haven't known a functional democracy in over four decades.
Kids today will never know the satisfaction of violently hanging up the phone on someone in anger and hearing the ringers ding once as you slammed it.
Tell me you're a NIMBY without telling me you're a NIMBY.
Nuanced take. Religion as it pertains to directing policy in politics can fuck right off. That said, this reals like a hit piece on Andy Beshear whom, while not perfect, is a far cry from the fanatics who quote the bible in congressional chambers.
Yes. I'm docking 2 points for the gameplay alone. 10/10 game if the gameplay wasn't a factor
The gameplay? Ok here's where I have problems. The QTEs, Parry, and dodge mechanics did not jive with me at all. In a turn based RPG I want my decisions to matter, not my reaction time. Some instances of the Parry mechanic just felt... unfair. And unfair is unfun.
That being said

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - PC 2025
So, I may be a bit contrarian here but it is what it is. First, Story. Brilliant... Absolutely brilliant. The world? Gorgeous, mysterious, interesting. The characters? Incredible, unparalleled. The best written and acted characters I've experienced in a game.
