Hey.Cafe is the best platform I've encountered, it seems to finally be gaining a significant user base, and if there's one thing we've learned about social networks in the last few years it's that it's always a good idea to have a backup or two.

We are almost at 30 thousand accounts! Get everyone you know to join and hang out with us!

We are small but growing!

In our content rules under spam one spam definition we have is: “Content that is AI-generated to be used as filler and/or trying pass as real or genuine.” Is against the rules and seen as spam.

Oh and there are a few cafés for it I know but rarely used so that’s nice and if content is put in a cafe labeled as such makes it easy to know what it is.

As long as not trying to pass as real, or using it to mislead we don’t go after, but it is in our content rules it can’t be claimed as real content and so on.

We don’t use AI and never will. And we don’t share data with any other parties at all.

Oh yes I really hate AI, so won’t be touching our stuff at all!

Good news, our email limits rolled over for the day and we had some head room, so we are comfortable with increasing the limit for new accounts to 575 per hour. You all have been amazing and thank you all so much for making this an amazing community!

We have increased the account per hour signup limits, if you ever run into problems just refresh the page and you get connected to a different server, and speaking of servers we are adding 2 more endpoints today.

We will be working on a few quality of life fixes like fixing the input clearing when making a comment on something due to the page content refreshing under you today.

We have managed to increase mail sending so we can comfortably per month if we had solid signups have 250 new accounts per hour. It's not ideal but higher than before. Count resets every hour on the hour.
