Taking some steps into the #3DS hacking scene and my first frustration is the virtual console injector being Windows only! I booted a VM and decompiled NSUI with ILSpy and what do you know, it bundles a bunch of other open source tools inside it which is why the browser alerts for viruses.
Highly depends on your constraints. Generally you'd probably start with a protocol that almost does what you want and then tweak it. Consider binary/human readable? Should it be self-describing? Do systems without allocation need to be supported?
I don't agree with his entire post, but you don't see climate change researchers prefacing all of their work with "we admit coal and oil is useful in some scenarios". We know it's useful, it's the externalities that are the problem.

Nintendo has consistently been able to do this to me with Pokemon for my entire life. Every Nintendo console I've ever bought has been for Pokemon. It's crazy that Sony and Xbox have effectively given up on hoarding IPs on their consoles.

This is exactly what I dislike about the Gravemind in Halo. The flood do not exhibit interesting collective consciousness behavior like one would expect. The development of a Gravemind should cause an obvious change in behavior of how individuals operate which could have been interesting gameplay.
Let's Go did not include the Sevii Islands which were a great addition.

There is a proliferation of satellite companies right now and they're all working towards this. This space feels severely under-regulated.
Yeah I'd love to see the explanation for how it's more economic to fly GPUs which are not rad hard into space and then replace them every couple weeks because an ionized particle blew the DDR controller.

Many people are inclined to dismiss the term "emergency" because it's been used for a decade and they haven't yet seen upending impact in their personal lives. They're not realizing that the system has so much inertia that if you only cry emergency the day before the glacier melts it's too late.
I'm not really familiar with where this data ought to be reported to or if they've even been required to submit a report yet. The enacted bill took effect last year but the reporting window is a full year starting on July 1 of the year so it may not have been required yet. Not really sure.

They claim they don't use the money for weapons or ammo, but there are plenty of ways a policy department can engage in militarization or building a surveillance state without buying weapons or ammo.
The NYC Police Foundation appears to be a way for the NYPD to get private financing for programs they wouldn't be able to fund on taxpayer support. Meaning private individuals are funding things that the city government doesn't want the NYPD to do.
I'm sure Nvidia would love to pocket VC money that's supposedly going towards development of rad hard GPUs.

What's going on in MPLS makes clear that pretty much all of US immigration and anti-terrorism policy needs to be rolled back, and DHS needs to be deconstructed starting with ICE. Everyone in the organization needs to be investigated and face charges, with no exceptions for "just following orders."
In some jurisdictions where public utility commissions aren't doing their jobs, it's going to be ratepayers unfortunately. Anywhere that's waiting for generation capacity or where there's a large load tariff model (not sure anywhere has implemented these), I agree and think you're right.
My hope is that the overextension here might at least enable cheaper GPU access once the LLM bubble pops and maybe there will be some new businesses that pop up to take advantage of it and that will dull the blow to the tech sector economy somewhat.
Not to say enough demand to eat the prospective data center explosion, but certainly some.
There are many applications for GPUs which are types of AI other than generative AI or LLMs. Lots of time series analysis or computer vision tasks. Even if the model will run on embedded hardware it would be trained on the cloud most likely.
