It made a *ton* of incorrect assumptions throughout. It still helped me do a lot of things I wasn’t sure how to handle much more quickly than I could have otherwise, but absolutely use with a ton of caution.
Keep in mind this also very much shows the danger of AI. You may notice that it showing the wrong APCA contrasts, using Lc 75 for large text and Lc 60 for small, when it should be the opposite. If I didn’t already have the knowledge I have this would absolutely have been a shit show.

I told Claude to use OKLCH for color adjustments and to test contrast using both APCA and WCAG 2.1. I asked it to avoid certain "ugly hues" — certain greens and yellows — for complementary colors. It took back and forth, but the time spent was reasonable.

Had a fairly major setback on the app the other day. Got really discouraged for a bit, but eventually figured out an even better solution. It took a lot more work upfront, but is going to really pay off in the long run! Ended today feeling very satisfied ☺️
I’m currently debating between that Snapmaker U1, and the Bambu H2S. The snapmaker’s ability to switch colors and materials with so little waste and faster printing sounds great. But the Bambu’s attachable AMS system, circulation system, and larger print area are super interesting.
Ok 3D printing nerds, we’re thinking about getting our first printer. Current top contender is the Snapmaker U1. Anyone want to talk me in to or out of this choice?

I’ve found more joy designing in the last few weeks than I have in a long, long time. Nothing against 1Password — they were and still are a great place to work. But 18 years in one place, watching it grow from near the start to ~1500 people, without a meaningful break, caused a lot of burnout.
Found myself saying "maths" instead of "math" today. Am I somehow becoming a Brit? No idea where that came from.
I remember the days long ago when we were able to make our Safari extension the best performing one, but a lot of that was through unofficial methods for many years. Miss those days in many ways even though other things have greatly improved.
As someone that worked on 1Password for almost two decades and used to be a big Safari fan, this has bummed me out for a long time. Sadly the way that Apple makes extension makers jump through hoops has made it much harder to make a reliable and performant extension than almost any other browser.
Please, please work on performance! I tried adding RSS feeds a while back and the refresh and scrolling performance made the app completely unusable. I ended up switching to another app. I go back to Openvibe to check the performance every once in a while but it still sucks unfortunately.
Particularly aimed at folks like myself with time blindness and/or other issues keeping track of your day.
Bonus points if you have ADHD or any similar neurodivergence 💜

These centrist squishes need to push for full abolition of ICE.
