So the whole reason I have the written reading-only prescription at all is that when I came in complaining that my LASIK was wearing off and I was having trouble seeing road signs while driving, they interpreted that as "he wants glasses to sit at the desk and read." Just straight buffoonery.

The optician who gave me the prescription claimed they didn't measure the PD and couldn't give it to me, so I used the "hold a card against your forehead" camera test and that matched what I got when I tried to measure in the mirror. I'm honestly leaning toward "optician screwed me" here.

I finally got the Zenni reading glasses I ordered last month and unfortunately they're both too small and the right lens is out of focus, and because the optician who (eventually) gave me the prescription was so uncooperative I don't know if it's their fault or mine.

Hey guys this is not a viable source. Besides the fact that any AI system being used by the government presumably has access to more updated date (I sure hope). Claude is not a person, it can't answer questions about why it did something, it confidently lies, it doesn't have access to other's state.
