2/3) Amazingly my two entries work: 'Warp' and 'WhyNot' ; 'Warp' is my entry to the demoscene competition and 'WhyNot' was a crazy "let's do it in one day" last minute entry. Both work on actual ASIC!! How cool is that?

Then somehow we recovered, sent 12 chips to be manufactured, sent 1 chip into space and gained access to another fab!

For the first time, open silicon wasnβt just a niche experiment in 2025 - it was a real ecosystem spanning three fabs and thousands of designs. And then one company collapsed and hundreds of chips effectively disappeared overnight.
Finally got the #TinyTapeout 8 ASIC with a couple of my designs on it.
When Efabless shut down we thought these chips were lost, but Tiny Tapeout managed to get hold of them and ship them out!
This design calculates the Mandelbrot fractal, racing the beam style. Itβs clocked at 100MHz.
The last month of my life: BreakingTTAPs
This is a custom transport-triggered, 32 bit processor that will be fabricated by GlobalFoundries on their 180nm process (via of wafer.space)
