I think I saw that Juno is the third most common name for babies born six years ago, and so people are gonna spend the next forty years either thinking I’m forty years younger than I am or that I’m probably trans.

The number one piece of advice I wish someone had given me when I came out as trans: pick a name that was popular in your birth year and NOT in your coming out year.
Credo brand oat milk cheeze, cheddar style, which is vegan and gluten free.
My bestie @vicatto.bsky.social brought this vegan cheese whiz over and I think the fact that it’s not called “whizn’t” is a big miss.
Also, gentle reminder that referring to a binary trans person as they/them is just another way of reminding that person of his or her visibility. Can you please not let me and everyone else know you’ve clocked me?
Transgender visibility is not a positive without strong civil rights. I’d much rather be invisible in this climate, please and thank you.
A white woman with brownish copper hair in a maroon thigh length body con dress with a thick black leather belt, with patterned tights and black leather heels. She’s standing with her hip popped out in a brightly lit room with a fig tree, gray purple walls, and red accents.
Fit check from Friday I forgot to post here, pretty proud of this one.
This message brought to you by me forgetting to take my clonidine the other day and suddenly remembering the terribly fragile and insecure person I used to be.
PS: clonidine is not Klonipin. They are NOT the same, don’t mix them up.
Y’all, if you have ADHD and you struggle with perpetual fear your friends are all going to abandon you, with attachment anxiety, and with self-critique, consider asking your doctor about alpha-2 adrenergic agonists.
What can be more of a confidence boost than knowing you’d give all your early possessions to be yourself — and that you actually succeeded and are now that person?
Anyway, that’s how I feel about gender affirming surgery — whether it’s for cis people or trans.

I know some people who spend all their money on cosmetic surgery chasing an unobtainable ideal.
I also know some people who’ve spent every penny and then some becoming who they’ve always wanted to be.

Sometimes when I show up early for my flight I walk in on the arrivals level and then walk right out the door again so I get the extra dopamine rush of *arriving* in a place
You push the request stop button on the airport bus just before the airport stop on the off chance that the bus won’t actually stop at the airport because no one pushed the button
My sports bra also fell out but that was the least embarrassing part
Tfw a syringe (for estrogen) and an emergency narcan dose fall out of your bag in front of people at the same time, at work 😳
Btw if you’re just joining me: I’m the only poster on this app whose username is a pun about both being trans and having helped land something on the Moon last year.
Last week I learned that the magic phrase in a political campaign which serves to create a contrast between a candidate and her opponent is, “I am the only candidate in this race who…” and since then I’ve been seeing it *everywhere*.
Our political system definitely selects for a specific category of people, which is those who think about money in a certain way.
NEW: The CDC shooting was public health’s Jan. 6. from @colincarlson.bsky.social and myself for @statnews.com. we do not make this comparison lightly, and we bring the receipts.
It happens every ten years in Texas ordinarily
I’m sure someone already tagged @hayao.lol right?
Today I strung together my first full real sentence (albeit with a comma splice) in Ukrainian while talking with my coworker friend:
Так, але думаю що, чому то ця пісня нова для мене, не люблю цю пісню, мені подобається ця пісня ☺️
Thanks :D
For a limited time, if you buy resistance badges and send me a photo of them on your car within three weeks of receipt, I’ll donate the proceeds to the Trevor Project.

Yesterday, I replaced the Tesla (the unit of magnetic field strength) with the Ohm (the unit of resistance).
It’s my first time manufacturing an art project of my own design.

Ahhh when did Matt Yglesias become the arbiter of abundance? Repealing parts of CEQA that led to the homelessness crisis is not the same as ignoring the climate crisis. We can work on both problems at once.
It’s also worth noting that this is NOT generally a good strategy for resistance movements: property and violent crime both tend to turn the center against resistors.
Why aren’t people talking about my GRE score
The left: I hope the rest of the world understands that many of us didn’t vote for Trump and don’t support him.
Also the left: Maybe Texas should have thought twice before they voted for Trump if they didn’t want a bunch of kids to drown.
