Recently I got invited to join the new Godot UX team. When I have time I will be helping testing editor PRs and make Godot more usable for everyone.
What are some of the most annoying things about Godot UI/UX that you think need attention?

I has been at 60K two years ago, and when AI summaries/Google results started to changed I dropped to 40K.
So I'm surprised I'm up again, without changing anything. I guess Google is tweaking stuff again.
For two months in a row, my Google Search performance (how well my website is indexed/served) has reached ~80K impressions. Up from 46K in December. I wonder what is going on.
My latest artwork - two astronauts exploring the surface of Saturn's icy moon, Enceladus. Plumes from the subsurface ocean are lit up by the dim sunlight.

Any cool ideas for what the mission should be called?
Real-time Rendering with a Neural Irradiance Volume
Delivering fast inference (~1ms/frame), a tiny memory footprint (1-5MB), 10x quality gains over probe-based methods @ equivalent mem budgets, bringing neural rendering within reach of consumer hardware without RT or denoising.

So excited to finally announce SPRAWL zero!
We've been working on this in secret for the past couple of years! We're taking a leap forward to the 2000s, inspired by the era of classics like Halo!

I fell for this new French edition of Jules Vernes 20,000 leagues under the sea. It's incredible, the layout and font choices are soooo good !
Well deserved :)

I'm continuing to experiment with fully procedural volumetrics. Added interaction with analytical volumes. Because of the difficulty in combining these two different volumes, I had to use dithering to create transparency. www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0b1...

I'd like to share @daqilin.bsky.social and I co-authored a chapter in the latest GPU Zen 4 book.
We cover the engineering details of implementing ReSTIR GI & PT in UE5's NvRTX branch, adopted in NVIDIA's Zorah project showcased at CES and GDC last year.
The book is now available on Amazon.
Excited to share that GPU Zen 4: Advanced Rendering Techniques is officially out. This volume features work from some of the most visually impactful projects of recent years, including #AssassinsCreed , #DOOM , #StarwarsOutLaws and NVidia's Zorah. And a killer cover :)
