SVG Animations are pretty neat
I use excalidraw for almost all of my mind mapping / whiteboarding ๐ I like the handwritten aesthetic it has, but it's not for everyone admittedly.
Wow: after 15 years, YouTube has taken down the original 'Rick Roll' video due to a "licensing issue," likely due to the acquisition of Astley's record lable.
The metadata remains, but if you click through it goes to 'video not found':

the year is 2025, and for the first time in my life I actually have no computers in my house running Windows. The Unix life chose me it would seem :D
"I've suffered enough" lmao @dailydotdev.bsky.social
why have 5 lines of powershell when you can have 40 lines of C#
This is sick
Going to react from JavaScript document.createElement etc it is much the same experience
In the UK it is expected that you learn how to drive a stick shift, or manual as we call it here, before you pass your driving test (at least for the full licence). I've been driving for 7 years, and last year I got my first automatic car. It is a blissful experience ๐.

This is a rundown of how I ended up in a senior engineer position starting way back to the beginning of how I got involved in programming in the first place
Amazing talk Scott ๐ฅฐ I love that you created an open source autopilot tool for your life long illness. Getting in the papers with the backstreet boys hair too is pretty cool ๐
I left my house for 30 minutes this morning, when I come back, there is a workman for the neighbours on my drive ๐ค asked him to move and he goes "I'll be out of your way in 5 minutes"! Am I crazy or is that insanely disrespectful ๐คฌ
Holy moly, nice one Scott ๐ I will tune in!
Don't care how old you are, you are never too old to feel like aquaman when you control the flow of water from the shower with your arms
London bus stop near Amazon HQ ๐ฅ
Incredible that they not only think it's an AI voice and not a recording. But also that the AI is *Siri* of all options ๐
This morning I am on a bus and the voice recording of the location announcements is very Bristolian and I overheard someone unironically say "amazing how they managed to get their Siri to sound like that".
Do you think changing the feed feature is what will bring more people to blue sky? I thought most of the users here were just pissed off with seeing Elon bastardise the twitter that we once loved and needed a new home as twitter refugees
public static void main open parentheses string open square bracket close square bracket args close parentheses new line open curly bracket... You get the idea... Doesn't quite have a good enough ring to it for me ๐
Happy (UK) mother's day to all of you mothers out there! My wife celebrated her first mother's day being a mum this year ๐ฅฐ
I just published one of my first dev.to blogs :-) I got to namedrop a few of my favourite creators too!

Well... You did learn something ๐
In the case of iCue there is at least an open source variant that covers most devices but still
Call me a beta if you want but I tried really hard to main Linux (Pop!_OS) but to be honest there were just too many things that were blocking my usual workflow.
- Logitech G Hub isn't available
- Corsairs iCue
- Some games still don't quite work even despite @valvesoftware.com's proton
I am still hardstuck C# engineer but I have been branching out to try bits of Golang every now and again. Rust just straight up scares me ๐
