Title slide from my presentation, featuring an illustration of three doofy-looking possums, one floating thanks to Eleventy’s trademark balloon. The title reads “Little Dummies: Simple FPO Content Helpers”
Here at @cloudfour.com, we do a lot of design and prototyping in the browser via @11ty.dev (or should I say #BuildAwesome??)
At the next free, virtual #Eleventy Meetup (March 12, 9am PDT), I’ll be sharing some of my favorite little helpers for quick and easy placeholder content: 11tymeetup.dev
I highly recommend 1Password. You can store your 2FA in the vault, access it on multiple devices, and it will autofill on many forms.
She was calmer than I would have been in the situation, and she was rather pissed.

How would you know that the attack was 1) illegal and 2) w/o clear justification?
I guess I have thoughts about the new kits but mostly: when will Portland Thorns Football Club’s actual colors return from war?????
Thrilled to announce a new partnership between Minnesota Aurora FC and @artsmia.bsky.social!

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, appears to have deleted his tweet after these Democrats responded
Wow, all this reinforces that the tariffs were arguably both the most reckless act and the greatest abuse of power by a President in American history.
In theory, we know this is true. But "struck down" doesn't quite capture it. These tariffs were obviously and transparently illegal. They were knowingly illegal. It is a stain on the Court that something so obviously illegal was allowed to stand for a year. talkingpointsmemo.com/news/scotus-...
It is pretty telling that it comes as something of a surprise that the Supreme Court sided with the Constitution over Trump.
Getting Your Article Shared: Tips from Ten Years of Newsletter Curation: “There’s loads of great content out there, and it’s funny how often someone puts the work into crafting an excellent post, but misses out on all the things that make it easy to widely share.” cloudfour.com/thinks/getti...
Thank you. I missed that reference somehow.
I’ve read it multiple times and can’t figure out what they are taking about.
I’m sharing a gift article in hopes someone else knows or can point to what I missed.
“a new set of tools released this week by a SF start-up forced a sudden reckoning on Wall Street.”
What new tools? Article doesn’t say?

What training manual in what agency instructs ICE agents that it's permissible to chase down a protestor and point a loaded gun at the top of their head while screaming at them?
We have to understand that ICE is being instructed by Trump to ignore law and convention and terrorize not police.
Sometimes you have to say it out loud to appreciate how dire t all is:
The president just openly declared his plans to steal the midterm elections — in an interview with the former number two person at the FBI.
If your children got tear gassed today I want to hear from you, even if you don’t live in my district. You can contact my office at councilor.green@portlandoregon.gov

Thoughtful article with some nice design touches as well.
A Facebook navigation starts with search, then my profile, followed by two AI products (Meta AI and Manus AI) before getting to Friends.
Two AI products above Friends in the Facebook navigation. Could there be any clearer statement about Meta’s priorities?
Also, WTF is Manus AI and why is it different than Meta AI? Actually, don’t answer that. I’m never going to use either of them.
Wow! I can’t believe we got this done! Now call your senators and tell them restrictions are nice, but they should strip the BBB funding of ICE and CBP.
Back to the original paper, it’s refreshing to read a well-structured study on potential medical benefits of LLMs.
That’s not to say I won’t take breakthroughs from non-LLM AI. In fact, I expect most to come from non-LLM AI.
But given LLM hype, it's nice to see a LLM medical test actually work.
BTW, I've started to refer to this propensity to tout AI wins that don't use LLMs as the AI Hype Sleight of Hand.
For example, this VOX article switches from LLMs to other AI in the middle of the argument www.vox.com/future-perfe...
I read articles carefully watching for the sleight of hand.
Usually when people talk about medical breakthroughs with AI, the examples they give are using machine learning or specialized models like AlphaFold. This study is interesting for using an off-the-shelf LLM (Gemini). Video from the study drive.google.com/file/d/167Zc...
Screenshot of Slackbot DM that says, "Hey, grigs! Time to wrap up your week :star emoji: You have 4 more AI search previews. Let's summarize what you accomplished this week." There are two buttons "What did I accomplish this week?" and "Don't Ask Again."
Slack, what the fresh hell is this? Interrupting my day to try to upsell your AI crap and this is the best use case you can come up with? GTFO
Stephen Miller is throwing CBP under the bus
by extension that means Miller is throwing Kristi Noem under the bus
meanwhile Noem is throwing Stephen Miller under the bus
Trump/Miller are totally in the catbird's seat on immigration, they're untouchable on this issue
Looking forward to hosting the World Cup in a couple months!
The union that represents CBP agents calling for Noem and Miller to step down or be fired. A Catholic Cardinal calling for Congress to defund ICE. Yes and yes.
