I looked into it with a "it can't be *that* bad" attitude. Yeah, I'mma go forage mushrooms now.
I haven't kept up with the smartphone market and was wondering if there were any good devices that are about the size of the iPhone 12 Mini, maybe slightly larger? Also not interested in any folding screen or flip phone devices.
Despite this week being an emotional roller coaster, we did manage to get out of the house at least once.
A little around five hours ago, one of the most influential people in my life passed away. I can honestly say that I would not be the person I am today without him.
I've had two fathers leave this world unto the next in these past six years. They were both fantastic and will live on through memory.
Imagine putting the Cane's ad right next to the Jolibee.
I wish the reasons for going were fun or good, but this 10-month-old 787 should at least get me there.
My goldfish says I should take advantage of the delivery services out there these days. I remember when they were just for food...
I realized that any Korean food I make can also be called "Southern Style."
My goldfish says it's accidentally eaten something in the 6th Arrondissement and it thinks that it might have either been a car or a building - it forgets which. Any case, it'll put it back when it's done with it.

Nice to suit up on a chilly day! <3
The last time I did that, I ended up in Sarajevo with a pocket full of gold bars and a massive hangover.
I have made a small amount of soup.
βLithographicness fish.β β My goldfish on how itβs producing its HBM 5 modules
My goldfish misread a corned beef hash recipe and ended up accidentally producing silicon wafers. Should sell those to a chip fab?
arctic hands: When I was a teenager and still on Neopets I was part of a pretty big Star Trek guild and eventually became part of its council, with the solemn duty of creating weekly polls. Well one day I created the poll "Which would win in a fight? Borg Cube or Death Star?". Naturally, since this was a Star Trek guild, the answer was overwhelmingly "Borg Cube", but someone did have the rationality to point out we were biased. So I look up a pretty prominent Star Wars guild and message one of their council and ask them to poll the same question and get back to me in a week. They do, and naturally the fuckin geeks said "Death Star". So then I look up a Stargate guild and messaged the lead council member, saying the same thing, and they get back to me almost immediately saying that the Death Star would immediately one-shot a Borg Cube but they would never be able to do it again to another Cube. And I took that wisdom back to my guild and we were mollified, and for one moment the Nerd World was peaceful. a picture of solomon deciding imposed with stargate fandom as both each of the mothers for star wars and star trek fandom present
Well, more changes in the mass of its accretion disc based on its mood and diet.
My goldfish is annoyed that scientists observing it are nosy because one of them was making comments on the mass of its accretion disc.
You did not forget the link, I'm just not awake
This is absolutely fantastic! Any chance of visiting the Maxell world?
My goldfish says that on this day in 1411, VRChat was conceived by an international team of scientists and technologists who were attempting to create the ultimate cheese recipe. While they only succeeded in creating Smoked Gouda, we also got VRChat as an additional bonus.
Wait, did you find @value.gay's side gig?

It's satisfying when Imperial units line up with Metric ones!
Take this oatmilk for example. 86, being divisible by 8, is perfect for halving, quartering, or eighthing recipes and 2.54, being perfectly divisible by 10, fits metric recipes really well.
Having to deal with the consequences of late stage capitalism on a grand scale? Yeah, that tracks.
Leather gear just gets the standard Blackrock conditioner but for stuff that's going to be outside, I'll hit it with some ceramic leather protectant to make it hydrophobic (which is also great on shoes here in the PNW)
For my scale maille tail, car shampoo is great at taking off the aluminum oxide powder while a ceramic-infused spray wax makes protecting it and making the colors pop stupid easy.
I'm...almost annoyed at how good automotive cleaning products are for my furry and VR gear.
Interior cleaners are designed to take biological residue off of hard surfaces designed to be touched for hours at a time, and they're also good at protecting fabrics.

So I get back from NZ (like a week agoβ¦ but I didnβt look until now) and discover that @ashtalon.bsky.social snuck a lil picture of me into my bag and it just brought such a smile to face. Such a sweet dragon! π
