I'd like to believe that there's more intention at play. Because maybe there would be enough resources to go around in Carol's world, if there were suddenly no incentive to hoard wealth away for generations. Could that sudden lack of artificial scarcity create space for something more hopeful than the post-apocalyptic hellscapes we're so familiar with?
