A world where the US isn’t bombing schools and murdering civilians would be much cooler.

Agreed.
Even if fans don’t understand from the start, they’ll figure it out.
I was really hoping for dark blue suits this year.
Yeah, I was SO disappointed by the writing. To introduce him as such an incredible character in the second season of The Mandalorian only to write a terrible plot and sideline the titular character for several episodes (which arguably were the best episodes of the season) was just disappointing.
I’m cautiously excited by this possibility.
But also, if Joss Whedon will still be involved, I have no interest.
I drop mine constantly 😅
Clearly, I cannot be trusted with a detached bottle cap.
So, while I respect your hatred for them, I will swear my loyalty to them. 😂
I lose my lids ALL THE TIME. This helps. 😂😂
Because I’m unwilling to say one player is an outlier and is causing much of our problems, I must be in charge of his fan club?
You didn’t answer my question. There’s no other players who have had terrible times this year or been regularly inconsistent?
I can think of at least 5 games in 2026.
Well, he agreed to terms elsewhere, so he didn’t.
But again, Richard Hughes is who you should question on that, not Slot.
I love the attached lids. 😅 🙈
Ah… he’s had zero good games because you can’t remember one.
So, he deserves to be specifically named every single game as the sole problem because no one else is consistently struggling this season?
No one else on that pitch is having a terrible year?
So you think his performance yesterday was so different from everyone else on the pitch, so terrible that it’s important to specifically name him as the poor performer and generalise everyone else?
I didn’t say you hated him.
I haven’t seen one broadly positive statement about him in the conversation. Was that when you called him an empty shirt?
After he scored on Saturday, it was clear how much it meant to him and how much the “chatter” has impacted him. He’s not phoning it in or an outlier
Yes, that was my point.
Why wouldn’t they?
Yes, I know, but at least the discussion at wide was that he wanted more pay.
Bayern came knocking, and it seems to be a pretty good fit for him. But additionally, while we can speculate at how he would be doing, we don’t know if he would also be struggling.
Would it actually matter to you if I did a deep dive into Cody’s performance and play?
People are so determined to hate him this season he’s become the punching bag they used Darwin for before.
Question - do you think it helps a player to pile on anger and hate during a tough season?
Lucho wasn’t going to stay. He wanted to go, and Richard Hughes (not Slot) wouldn’t pay him more.
There have been HUGE changes this year, and what we’re missing is quality passing, especially long passes, and focused and tight defending.
I absolutely believe he should play Robbo more.
I mean, they know how to get Liverpool. Low block stops most attacks, and they know if they wait, there will be an opportunity to score for them through mistakes or weaknesses.
You mean our #2 scorer this season?
I’m definitely okay giving Rio a shot at starting, but Cody has become the new Darwin in how people have decided to pile hate and anger on.
There are definite feedback/complaints, but acting like he is the reason we’re not doing well this season is wrong.
Honestly, that probably would have helped. Poor decisions by Dom for sure
Just because it’s easier doesn’t make it the only decision
😂😂😂😂
I’m sure they are.
In fairness, Jürgen was there for 9 years! Arne was there for one before tragedy hit the club, and Trent left, and others departed.
It was bound to be a really tough year. I think it’s just about showing support and hoping they find their way back. And if not, then making that hard decision.
And yet, Mo is the one who scored the equaliser 🤷♀️
So what does that say about everyone else.
There’s truly no telling what would have happened if Jürgen were still there.
There would still be a heavy drape of grief on the club.
I do wonder if there would be less anger and hate toward the team/players if he were there. I’d like to think he’d address it more.
Yeah, but remember Slot is a head coach. They signed him as that so the back office can control the squad, specifically because Jürgen had so much control.
You have complaints about the player transfers and buying/selling, I’d suggest looking harder at Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards.
Changing managers isn’t always the best solution. We’ve seen that evidenced through so many teams.
And when he rotates, people complain that he should have used other players.
When times are tough, nothing will ever be the right decision if it doesn’t work out.
I lean on what Kelleher said about it, and what may pundits and players have said, this is not a normal season under normal circumstances, and it’s not fair to judge them as if it were.
