Seems like the only real winner so far in Trump's Iran mess is his pal Putin as Trump takes the chance to lift sanctions on Russian oil, which will allow $billions more to flood into Russia's coffers to fund Putin's war on Ukraine. Stupidity or something else ? With the Mad King its hard to know.
