I'm currently descaling my tankless water heater and I haven't felt this productive in weeks.
It is deeply irresponsible and downright repugnant that news outlets keep saying "witnessed having sex with a minor". It's statutory. It's rape. Not calling it such makes things more dangerous for minors and proliferates rape culture.

One of my kids just organized a funeral for the tree on our street that was unexpectedly cut down for the city gas line project. Around 15 neighbors came and offered blessings. When that tree was felled, it felt like a metaphor for our current political moment, but this funeral gave me hope.
