Here's what I believe: no more business as usual in the Senate. We shouldn't be voting to proceed to normal legislation until Republicans schedule a debate and a vote and on a declaration of war against Iran. Let's see if Trump has the votes to authorize war. I bet he doesn't.
We simply cannot allow these fucking morons to act like they're the ones who truly love this country. They don't take matters of life and deaths seriously. They aren't patriots--they're the most selfish people on the planet.
I have absolutely no idea what Trump is trying to accomplish in Iran, or how he plans to accomplish it, and the fun thing is that neither does he!
That's why the constitution does not give the President the authority to launch wars without Congressional approval.

Most of the candidates the crypto industry defeated in 2022 were women of color.
No, they don’t. The crypto industry targeted a specific number of Democrats in open races, and incumbents who sit on powerful committees.
Crockett was one of their top targets.
I assume crypto isn't everyone's most important issue. But, it's something I've been worried about for a while now.
Crockett is at the forefront of ensuring Democrats don't oppose crypto as a party. She is a very talented politician, but I can't look past her allegiance with that industry.
I don't think her 2023 amendment was understood to be anti-crypto. The industry was trying to legitimize itself and was looking for regulations which would allow it to gain access to the Fed and other benefits from being within the regulatory perimeter. That amendment was pro-industry.
Once she was on the powerful Financial Services Committee, Crockett has been whiling to do the biding of the crypto industry.
She voted for the GENIUS Act, the crypto industry's signature bill.
She offered an amendment to a prior version of the bill which was criticized by crypto skeptics.
In 2023, Rep. Jasmine Crockett launched a behind-the-scenes effort to get House leadership to place her on the House Financial Services Committee.
“I think that it’s a conflict of interest,” said Rep. Summer Lee (D-Pa.), when asked generally about crypto-funded candidates joining that committee.
With respect, I’ve been following the crypto issue closely since 2022 and it’s been clear Crockett is compromised since then.
