It’s obvious now. Something happened to cause such a shift. One year ago there was motivation, drive, a desire to partake in events. Now that has dropped off. So many things bailed on.

He has to commit now. The US is unfortunately stuck with a war that will last another 3 years and a Democrat president is going to have to end when they take office in January 2029.

I had a great time skiing for the first time in years on the local hill here. Interesting though that so-and-so didn't participate. Instead, they stayed at the base which definitely is out of character.

I am 108,000 calories away from burning 1,000,000 calories between work and gym since July 2024. Major accomplishment on the horizon.
My next goal after this is to have burned 1,500,000 calories by this time next year. Another half million in a year is totally achievable.

As for this war with Iran, I think it's going to be a long, drawn out conflict that won't end for quite some time. Probably going to be listed in the history books as one of the biggest mistakes in modern US history.
Now, allow me to say that I don't like Isaacman's stance on his undying support for Trump. But at least he's not out to mothball NASA and wants to speed up their launch cadence.
Isaacman is still an absolute tool, but engineers and astronauts need to take advantage of this opportunity to do more.
How the Trump administration can go from one of the most rare, sane decisions (Isaacman saying Artemis III will be LEO testing and IV is a lunar landing) to insane distract-from-the-Epstein-files decisions (attacking Iran) is absolutely beyond me.

Yesterday I sat in an open rehearsal as part of my conference and I will say this: The level of disrespect the conductor showed those young musicians was completely unacceptable and inappropriate.
