I think we should loudly, publicly start planning the trials for Trump et al for When This Is All Over. Some NGO should pay lawyers to start tracking crimes, preparing legal theories, crafting enabling legislation, etc. It should be the legal equivalent of constructing a gallows in the town square.

One of those costs there’s probably no way to quantify but is obviously huge is just the huge deadweight loss of time and mental energy spent thinking and talking about Trump relative to a normalish president.

Bezos does not want a great paper with a conservative opinion page (like the Wall Street Journal). He seemingly barely wants a paper at all, treating one of the most important American media institutions like an embarrassing child from a previous marriage that no longer fits his lifestyle.
This sounds unbelievable but its true: since Bezos acquired The Post, his wealth has grown tenfold and the Post has been cut in half.

NEW LAWSUIT: We're suing on behalf of Vietnam veterans & a historian to stop the construction of Trump's arch.
The arch would obstruct the historically significant view between Arlington House & the Lincoln Memorial.
And erecting it without congressional approval is illegal.
