Interesting, they should be aware in advance that they’re likely to play me (I’m almost always board 1) so there’s the opportunity to do some targeted prep, but I’m not convinced they actually do!

Do you find people prepare specifically against you? You’re stronger than I am but in my local league I play people 2000 to IM and honestly have never got the sense of significant individualised prep.

Funny mouseslip in a blitz game - originally was going to go 0-0, then decided on Rc1. But my king was still selected so 0-0-0 appeared on the board when I dragged the rook across!
