Happy #mar10day to all that celebrate
If itβs any help, hereβs the model I used (and had trouble finding even though I keep all my printed files locally in case they disappearβ¦)
www.printables.com/model/119673...
I used that gumminess as a feature and printed somebody elseβs design that was probably a bit too loose.
And itβs not going to fit anymore as soon as itβs a bit gummed up.

Curious to see if anyone actually uses this to repair their IKEA Alex, or mod it!

Modelled the front panels as well.

3D render of IKEA Alex small drawer standing on end, viewed from the top
One day, I'll be able to reassemble the drawers out of my IKEA Alex, in the meanwhile, I modelled them so I could modify them.
Varta battery shop display in bright blue. No batteries and no pegs are installed.
Destroyer of vintage electronics, shop display.
So Philip Glass just joined TikTok. He only has like 4 posts and theyβre simply him in what I assume is his living room playing the piano. First comment on one I saw was βyour piano is too close to the fireplace, youβll dry it outβ and if thatβs not the internet in a nutshell I donβt know what is.
There's a war going on so reminder that ModRetro is owned by a war mongering, ai weapon profiteer with extremely dubious views on a lot of things
I've finalised and released my Asrock BC-250 case, with multiple designs to hopefully tickle your fancy.

And developers like myself wondering why we even bother.
When we talk about Baby Boomers not getting off the stage: In 1997, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2007, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2017, the US president was born in 1946.
And next year in 2027? The US president will have been born in 1946.
(And I might even be able to model them myself, I have a 3D scanner, I can make extruded rectangles in Fusion, but I have a bazillion other projects)
I was wondering specifically about the plastic midframe as it should be easier to model, the default ones are crumbly af, and thereβs no replacement parts available.
Is that a Niimbot printer? I use NiimprintX in Linux to talk to it, no spyware. Shame about the labels, but thatβs a price I was willing to pay for convenience.
Do you know if anyone started worked on replacement parts for the plastic midframe?

Composite image made up of 6 frames, 2 images wide by side repeated 3 times, zooming in further on the faces each time. On the left, a woman holds her hand in the air to attract attention while kneeling next to a man who has fallen down clutching his chest, on the right, a serious-faced man holding a briefcase Woman: Y a t'il un docteur ici?. Man: Je suis docteur. Que se passe t'il? Woman: Une attaque cardiaque ! Man: Je suis docteur en philosophie ! Woman: Il va mourir... Man: Nous allons tous mourir. Translation in English: Woman: Is there a doctor here? Man: I am a doctor, what happened to him? Woman: - a heart attack Man: I am a doctor of philosophy Woman: He's going to die... Man: We're all going to die
I've only got 2 French jokes, this is the best
A picture of a diorama sculpted by Hideo Nakajima based on Masanori Yoshihawa illustrations. It was used on the cover of Monster World II: Dragon's Trap for the Sega Game Gear release in Japan. Image depicts clay sculpted figures of the hero holding a sword and shield, with various animals around like a lion, a lizard, a dragon, a red bird and a mouse. There's a huge blue dragon like creature in the background.
My attempt to restore the picture of a diorama sculpted by Hideo Nakajima based on Masanori Yoshihawa illustrations. It was used on the cover of Monster World II: Dragon's Trap for the #Sega #GameGear release in Japan. Removed seam between pages, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch combo.
A clipping of a letter to the editor from the January 2002 issue of PSM2 magazine, titled "THE CHEEK'S IN THE MALE." In the letter, a reader named Mr T Webb from Portsmouth argues that the games industry isn't sexist, claiming that girls aged 14β18 are more interested in "boys and looking good" than "gruelling" games like Resident Evil. Below the letter, the editor provides a biting rebuttal, stating, "Maybe you're not meeting enough girls then, Mr T," and noting that Resident Evil is actually one of the most popular games among the magazine's female readers.
"When the two women wrote in complaining about the games industry being sexist, it's their fault for thinking that way."
Enjoy this pure distillation of gamer culture from the January 2002 issue of PSM2.

I hope it's useful for someone.
