yep. even AP / NPR etc have to be met with some initial skepticism for everything they publish these days.

I find the consistency & frequency at which folks that live and work in LA mispronounce "Lompoc" in film & television - contrasted against all the work they put into accents & working with special consultants for things like forensics, medicine, law, etc - so very interesting.

the number of places *marketing* veteran perks today but requiring a military ID vs other, more universal verification of service to redeem is astonishing. Even f*ng Jack in the Box uses ID.me - this isn't a difficult hurdle. Just say active duty & retired military if that's what you mean.

Currently at a spot that said (superficially) 5 stations on site, 4 available. One car plugged in. All 4 other CCS connectors in maintenance. So zero. There are zero available.
EVGo is absolutely ridiculous. Chargers available, but most of the time the connector you need is out of service. Session fees. 2x the cost per kwh when you can actually use a spot. We're expected to pay much more for so much less and yet wonder why people are still buying Teslas. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love my Fellow products & think of them in a way like the "Apple" of that niche w/ a strong, consistent design lang, but... I've had this kettle for 4-5yr & only just realized there's a MAX line on the inside because it's on the interior handle side - the one you don't see when holding the kettle.
