What do you think public health professionals should do when faced with questions from vaccine-hesitant parents? Yell? Call them names? Threaten to have their children taken and put into foster care? Become violent?

If one party is openly fascist and the opposing party applies the same tactics in order to "win", the result is that we are left with two fascist parties to choose from.
The logic is truly perverse; if their media lies and uses hyperbole to twist the truth into something unrecognizable, we will do the same. If their politicians espouse transphobic rhetoric, we will run transphobes. If their party puts up a Nazi for election, we will put up a Nazi of our own.
I'm REALLY not excited to get into a situation where even if we win, we lose because we've become just like the opposition. Unfortunately that is what the Blue No Matter Who folks are willing to do, because to them the goal is not to be better, but to win no matter the cost.
TBH a lot of Liberal & Leftish media outlets have fully embraced the "we must use the rhetorical tactics of the Right" mentality, and it is for the worse for all of us. Abandoning journalistic (and all other) integrity because "the Other Side did it first" just means we all become less-informed.
Like I get that you're scared and feel powerless, and probably have run out of anti-vaxxers to yell at, but blaming and cursing out the people who work to get kids vaccinated for the existence of anti-vaxxers is wildly counterproductive and inappropriate.
