If I was a smart capitalist, I'd raise money and buy the nest smoke alarm business from Google. I'm sure at that retail price and 10 year obsolescence, there's a good business to be had if you're not distracted by shiny new things.

But also maybe KS3 and KS4 English literature absolutely kill the joy of books by picking irrelevant works (classics!) or pretending that old plays make good reading (verily!). That's how it went for me.

Aren’t CT clamps the way to interoperate between systems? I have different systems for EV charging, home battery, and shunting excess PV to immersion heating. They all use CT clamps and local config.

One of the British values of which I’m fond is solidarity, of the kind that gave birth to the Labour Party. Starmer would do well to remember his hero’s claim that “the Labour Party is nothing if it is not a moral crusade.”

Looking at pricing for smoke alarms, and I simply cannot believe that Google are killing Nest. They're 2-3x the price of other smoke alarms - how can you not be wildly profitable at these levels?
This is banked for the next time I ask “could this be a shell script?” only to be told “no” by a zealot.
