I think this is probably the best photo I have ever taken? Chiffchaff looking at its reflection at the local spring. What do you all think? Hopefully I might get a re-post or two? View full screen. #birds #birdphotography
Wilko store goods entrance. One of the Os is missing, so it reads God's Entrance.
Fond memories of the Wilko Rheingold.

Just bought this for my partner's upcoming birthday. I've been very disciplined and wrapped it up without a sneaky listen, even though I was tempted.
A stone and concrete channel with water in it, curving around the gently sloping side of a mountain. A grassy, well-trodden path on an embankment follows it course. A line of rugged mountains form the skyline on the opposite side of the valley. The sky above is blue with some white clouds just above the horizon. It is a bright, sunny day.
This leat winds around the southern slopes of the Carneddau mountains in Wales and the path that follows it provides superb views of Ogwen Valley and the Glyderau. The water it collects flows into the reservoir at Llyn Cowlyd.

Mavis usually moves back and forth between the sofa with me and the living room rug over the course of the evening.
Close up of the nose and face of a sleeping German Shepherd. Her head is resting on my leg and she is stretched out along the couch. Her front paws are crossed and also resting on my leg.
Today's Mavis pic...

A starling murmuration sweeping over Brightonβs shoreline at sunset.
A recent low tide sunset outing, when a murmuration of starlings swept over Brightonβs shoreline, drawing crowds to witness one of natureβs most breathtaking spectacles.

Sunset. Interspersed bands of grey cloud, blue sky, and golden sunlit sky. The sun is low, just above the horizon. In the foreground, a field with a clump of bare trees silhouetted against the sky on the left.
Goodbye for now, Friday...

Deep snow covers the foot path that leafs away into the depths of the forest, the barren branches and foliage laden with wet, pristine snow

Looks lovely, Mary - I've never heard of it before.
A still from the first Jurassic Park movie. Laura Dern and Sam Neil are crouched by the head of a triceratops that is lying on the ground. There's a boy in the background.
Jurassic Park could easily have been a very different movie...
"Well, the test is back and you do have gonorrhea, I'm afraid, but don't worry - we have the antibiotics for that in our rucksack."
"Shove it up your ears..." π
We exist to serve... π
π I think I must have been. She's had a busy day playing fetch outside so she was probably too tired to lift both ears at the same time.
I had to reset that feature the other day. Not sure why the box was suddenly unchecked in my settings.
She wasn't leaning with her full weight, just her head. Maybe I'm just used to her leaning on me... π
π We were fine, although she did roll over and go into tummy tickle mode when the news finished.

I'm starting to think you're not taking this conversation seriously... π

You mean her position? She's always wriggling around on the sofa when she's not asleep. π
Absolutely. Can you lend me the money? π·
I don't know.
