A tall tree without leaves and two huge branches low down like outstretched arms
Stand up, stretch your arms out wide and let this tree hug you.
Come on, bring it in.

Welcome to a new month - February being the 49th month in which Russia has been attacking Ukraine.
It's Day 1439 and here comes another daily thread, all the important stuff, fact checked and without gratuitous gore, every single day.
#BBCNews putting the fantasy of Burnham's non-extant leadership challenge ahead of the Gopstapo executing a member of the public on the street in Minneapolis.
The first item isn't news except to obsessed political journalists who have puffed it up.
Apparently MP Matthew Parris said: βIf you were to remove ambition from the core of Robert Jenrick, he would collapse like a boneless chicken.β
Iβm still hoping a family member or childhood friend will shed light on how it came to this.
But that doesnβt explain why he is ambitious, or thinks he should be in power, which is what drives this behaviour (presumably)
Saturday morning catch up on podcast listening.
I am left genuinely curious what would make Robert Jenrick be ambitious and think he should be running the country.
I am lots of things, but I am not that. How does a person end up thinking about themselves in those terms?

You beauty π
The UK is a bizarre country where its seen as just fine & normal for people to sleep in tents in the freezing cold. Temperatures to hit -4 this week
But the idea Billionaires could be less rich. Not poor, not struggling, just a bit less rich, this is seen as extreme and radical

Morning dog walk. Simple pleasures.
Unfortunately our system also means those in power lack the time, vision and will. While those who work inside the system are mainly dedicated, hard working and doing their best.
Hi ππ» itβs the wife π
It is the whole system - the relationships and regimes in prison; the courts and how they sentence; the police and who they arrest; our society and how wealth, education and opportunities are distributed.
It is big and complex and also achievable with time, vision and willβ¦.

I don't disagree with the sentiment - there certainly is a battle for the soul of the country. But Starmer's handling of the issue has been wrong on so many counts - too little, too slow, ineffective language, no real plan, & worst of all, aping the sentiments/actions of Reform.
WE NEED IMMIGRANTS!
We need dialogue between the factions. Without dialogue the divisions will only deepen.
Britain has gone quite, quite mad.
Itβs been a while

An important reminder. Donβt vote for grifters.

Reform MP Richard Tice had millions squirrelled away in a tax haven
Tax Havens are parasites aiding tax-dodgers, criminals, money-launderers and dictators.
They must be abolished.

Couldnβt agree more. So many reports and so much knowledge in the system but somehow it never comes together.
Iβm leading an international research project bringing dialogue into primary schools. Let me know if you are interested to know more. Iβm afraid I can only speak English tho!
Notice what is.
letβs hope all these #FarmersProtests blocking ambulances get their 5 years in jail like #juststopoil π
