Happy International Chaka Khan day
Ah amazing! He's worked there for years and I still haven't been for a meal yet. I can vouch for the cocktails though!
I bought my niece some vouchers for Hummingbird Cocktail bar and she said it was amazing. My brother in law works at The Art School and they also have a nice basement for cocktails. It'll be a good night regardless!
There's some beautiful hotels in Liverpool, have fun!

You've got enough on your plate, dust can wait!
I now know why spring cleaning is a thing. The sun has properly lit up parts of my livingroom I've not seen in months and gang, I'm offended by the level of dust. Off to get the big extendable feather duster out.
You in another decade

Loads of people are from Wigan, she's from the same estate as me.

Paul Holywood if bake off counts.
Appeasing my angry uterus by throwing crumpets covered in an unholy amount of butter, a French Fancy and multiple cups of tea at it.
This is wonderful
Amazing
Hahahaha! I have a certain set of skills
The lanyard class thing is silly. I wore a lanyard as the head of a residential school. Never wore one working in admin for the NHS.
And the only time it came in useful was when I accidently cut my wrist open and I used it as a makeshift tourniquet.
Westminster Meeting House raided by Metropolitan Police again. Statement: βFor Quakers, faith and action are inseparable. Peaceful protest, prayer and nonviolent action are integral parts of many Quakers' religious life. Whilst we take the planning of criminal acts very seriously, we believe that this incident is a deliberate targeting of committed young people who want to make our country a more equitable place. This raid is part of a systematic stifling of dissent. That this is the second time in a year that the police have raided our meeting house dramatically illuminates the broader trend in the UK of cracking down on those who disagree with the government. The right to protest is fundamental to our democracy. It's a key part of how people make their voices heard between elections.β β Oliver Robertson, Head of Witness and Worship Quakers in Britain, 5 March 2026
Yesterday evening, for the second time in a year, the Met Police raided Westminster Quaker Meeting House and arrested a number of young nonviolent activists.

My Dad even with his ill health managed to sit his 11+ and went to a Catholic grammar school in Bolton and hated it. My mum weirdly was ill and couldn't sit the 11+ so went to the local secondary school and became head girl.
I know a discreet distress signal when I see one.
Have fun, haha!
Scientists have found cocaine in every single shrimp they tested.
You know what this means? It's those London eels, they've moved upstream and are dealing to the shrimp. Who is next?!
Hot water bottles are fucking brilliant.
I knew you'd appreciate it
