how do you even do things
how do you even do things
i promise if you don't yield, you will have no future
right, you can just buy this soundtrack and listen to it wherever and whenever. i don't get it either lmao
i was hoping they used some kind of fancy technique with this thing to make it accurate but it seems like they just took the first 45 tracks from the super music collection, plopped them on flash and hooked a chip up to the speaker. which is like. fine cause it's still cute, but meh
That one is actually just my lighting, it's a 64mb flash chip. Funnily enough, its datasheet lists a 20 year data retention time, so this thing will eventually expire just like saves on a Gameboy cartridge
people can perfectly emulate your 1989 hardware using FPGAs but you must keep this jukebox chip top secret
The internal PCB of the Gameboy Jukebox. There is a cFeon en35qx512a, a 512 megabit flash chip. There is another chip on the side with a glob of black epoxy over it, covering any markings.
uhm... lol?
A Pokemon Red Gameboy cartridge with a faded and scraped up label, next to it is the Pokemon Red Jukebox cartridge with a bright, glossy brand new label and is about one quarter of the size of the real cartridge.
anyways don't talk to me or my son ever again
More direct sound test, holding each device's speaker to the mic
First is Analogue Pocket, then Jukebox
quick little test. sorry I don't have a DMG, the Pocket is crisper than normal audio but I think they even tried to replicate the DMG speaker structure on this little thing π it sounds more authentic than the Pocket for sure
Pokemon Red/Blue jukebox toy, showing the miniature Gameboy device on top of the plastic packaging holding the 45 mini-cartridges.
it's so cute π₯Ήπ₯Ήπ₯Ή
I literally bought Pokopia but cancelled it when I found out it was a game-key-card
Please put the actual game on your $70 cartridge
Redraw of Lugia's cave using the GBC palette
A mini bouncy house in the opening of a restaurant.
me: "hey let's go to tequila night at this restaurant"
vega: "sure!!"
30 minutes later:
bsky.app/profile/ther... (it's moderately bullshit)
"Channel type 1 confirmed - this is a private DM channel, not a game or public channel"
does anyone write like this? who uses "confirmed" like this in a security blog post?
take this with a grain of salt because this write-up is so clearly written by an LLM. I wouldn't be surprised if this was true, but come on, a severity table with green and red emojis?
guy next to me in this lobby is watching multiple AI narrated videos at the same time without headphones
sorry hector i love you but "watch this guide to learn the mechanic and how *not* to do it so you can watch this other guide to learn *not* the mechanic, but how to actually do it" is not a great technique
this fight is my first thought whenever someone mentions bad game design
We've heard you might be excited about a certain plush... π
Pikachu 1996 Style Plush and Keychain are coming to PokΓ©mon Center. Stay tuned!
"oh i need this computer rn"
pause node
done. that's all that's needed. it's awesome
tdarr test: success. i love the idea of just having it running doing nothing, and whenever i have some free time to monitor it or my computer(s) aren't doing anything i can just point them at the orchestrator and start transcoding
no finger on the trigger though, she knows what she's doing
omg grats! i hate this fight so much lmao
it is very telling that βBIOSβ, in addition to being an acronym, is also the Greek word for βlifeβ. meanwhile, βUEFIβ is, of course, ancient Greek for βunified extensible firmware interfaceβ
guess I will have to skip on any new Horizon games :(
not exactly. but what are they gonna do now? fire me?
it is so ironic that it's been a running joke at my workplace about getting macs instead of our clunky windows development laptops
and now my new position is giving me a Mac
also yes, I got a new job!
good trigger discipline! I am proud
